TheCartoonist CARTOONS are always submitted to the client with the highest quality and respect for their expected outcome. I welcome any feedback submitted to me and if there are any quick changes I can do to enhance your cartoon and your general experience I would gladly accomplish them without any extra charge.
However in order to limit any unnecessary extra work on my part as well as to ensure the best client experience I have laid out my detailed policy with regards to changes and revisions for your CARTOONS. Due to the nature of my pricing strategy—all changes and revisions are typically within the bounds of the SERVICE you have purchased. I do not initially charge any fees by the hour, and rate my services based on the finished work I provide.
For the following specific SERVICES:
- Cartoon Yourself
- Couple Cartoon
- Cartoonize your dog
- Cartoonize your cat
You are allotted (1) free MINOR REVISION for your TheCartoonist CARTOON. These include:
-Changes in color and shade
-Changes in shadow or lighting effects
-Minor aesthetic improvements to improve the likeness of the cartoon.
These include: Fixing the hair, eyebrow thickness, nose size and shape
adjustment, lip size and shape adjustment, eye size and shape
adjustment, teeth adjustment, acceptable face or body adjustment to
reflect actual weight, mustache and beard texture and grooming, face
makeup adjustment if applicable.
These DO NOT include:
-Changing the reference photo
-Shifting the position of your cartoon so as the original reference is
useless (example: please make him face to the left/right/forward)
-Adding any additional elements (like jewelry, eyeglasses, equipment)
not part of the original photo
-Adding any new design elements (like text or a custom background)
For any of the aforementioned disallowed revisions—a small fee OR a quotation for an entirely new cartoon will be added to your request pending approval from the client. If you agree I can proceed with these revisions.
For the following other SERVICES:
- Your own Cartoon Logo
- A Company CARICATURE™
- Special Request
You are allotted unlimited revisions with certain limits based on your request. You are free to change the following:
-Changes in color and shade
-Changes in shadow or lighting effects
-Minor aesthetic improvements to improve the likeness of the cartoon.
These include: Fixing the hair, eyebrow thickness, nose size and shape
adjustment, lip size and shape adjustment, eye size and shape
adjustment, teeth adjustment, acceptable face or body adjustment to
reflect actual weight, mustache and beard texture and grooming, face
makeup adjustment if applicable.
-Changes in layout that are part of the original request
-Changes in the orientation
-Changes in the text or formatting
All these changes are allowed so long as they consume only 25% of allotted time made to create the original artwork. While this number is relative—it is subject to my preference and I will notify you if changes in your cartoon are beyond the allotted time.
These changes and revisions are NOT ALLOWED:
-Changing the reference photo (if applicable)
-Shifting the position of your cartoon so as the original reference is
useless (example: please make him face to the left/right/forward)
-Adding any additional elements (like jewelry, eyeglasses, equipment or
props) not part of the quotation
-Adding any new design elements (like a custom background)
For any of the aforementioned disallowed revisions—a small fee OR a quotation for an entirely new cartoon will be added to your request pending approval from the client. If you agree I can proceed with these revisions.
To avoid any additional charges—please make sure that your cartoon request is concise and you have well envisioned your work beforehand. It’s my promise to provide the best possible cartoon for your needs.
