TheCartoonist.Me creates Cartoons of Netflix's Squid Game Cast

October 3, 2021

World-renowned cartoon artist TheCartoonist.Me draws cartoons of the cast of Netflix’s Squid Game, one of the most popular shows on the streaming app last September, 2021.

Following a very sudden trend-- global cartoon maker TheCartoonist.Me showcased her talent in drawing cartoons by creating a cartoon for each of the main cast of the now famous Squid Game show that is now streaming on Netflix. She has just finished the show herself, and was amazed at what transpired per episode. Without spoiling the details to her following, she felt best to promote the show instead by making cartoons of the cast instead. She chose the team of heroes among the cast to draw because, of course, every person wants to be a hero!

She chose her very original SIGNATURE THECARTOONIST STYLE:

Seong Gi-hun Player 456 Squid Game

Lee Jung-jae as Seong Gi-hun

Cho Sang-woo Player 218 Squid GamePark Hae-soo as Cho Sang-woo

Kang Sae-byeok Player 067 Squid GameJung Ho-yeon as Kang Sae-byeok

Oh Il-nam Player 001 Squid GameO Yeong-su as Oh Il-nam

Abdul Ali Player 199 Squid GameAnupam Tripathi as Abdul Ali

To draw all five cartoons as listed above.

TheCartoonist’s favorite actress of course is Jung Ho-yeon who played Kang Sae-byeok also known as Player 067. She’s a North Korean defector who just wants to help her parents also defect from North Korea. What makes her so interesting from TheCartoonist’s point of view is her resilience and single-mindedness, but also her heart. Before revealing more, readers of this press release should watch this show. She is definitely more than just a pretty face; she is someone extraordinary!

Another actor that requires special mention is Anupam Tripathi who played Abdul Ali also known as Player 199. While already involved in acting the past decade-- his role in Netflix’s Squid Game is his breakout role and he received a lot of attention from fans around the world as well as from his home country India. He plays a very sweet Pakistani migrant worker who wants to provide for his wife and family. His real life experiences as a persevering young actor in South Korea also served to enrich his role in Squid Game. TheCartoonist.Me hopes to see him in more shows and even films in the near future!

She expects that through these cartoons there may be more awareness about this action-packed and thrilling show. Squid Game is not just your regular gore show. At its core, it is a story of life and how the poor will do almost anything to break the cycle of poverty. Cheating a friend, selling your body for a guarantee of safety and teaming up with the most untrusworthy individuals just to get a heads up against other people. You will be shocked at how many life lessons you may pick up from it at the end. You may even be compelled to do some introspection to try and make sense of the heroes' decisions and maybe decide if they are still the same heroes you pegged them as in the beginning. TheCartoonist.Me guarantees that you will enjoy watching the show and maybe after finishing the show, you can tell her who your favorite hero is.
